Weeks 1–2: Goals, budget, and venue
Every decision downstream depends on three things: what success looks like, how much you can spend, and where it happens. Define the purpose of the event and a short list of success metrics, then build a line-item budget with a contingency built in. Venue and date get locked here too, for a 100–500 guest event, popular venues book out 6–10 weeks ahead, so touring and signing early protects the rest of the schedule.
- Define event goals and success metrics
